Join the Duncan McClellan Gallery on Saturday, February 13, from 5-10 pm, for the opening of the glass show “POW!!!”, a dynamic exhibition of glass sculpture by
world famous glass artist and head of Centre College’s glass art program, Professor Stephen Rolfe Powell.
Powell will give a free glass blowing demonstration beginning at 6:15pm, and a short gallery talk around 7:45pm.He will be assisted in the Hot Shop by four of his students from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
A free live jazz performance by the Ashwood Jazz Project will be held in our covered courtyard from 8-10pm.A cash bar and gourmet food truck will be available on the premises. Proceeds from beverage sales fund the DMG School Project, a 501c3 dedicated to public arts education.
