Description
When Jeremiah Jacobs took a ceramics class in high school, he was hooked. After graduating, he attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and fell under the spell of Athenian vase technique, which can be seen in his work today.
In 2011, he came to St. Petersburg as an artist-in-residence at the Craftsman House Gallery and began to explore other media in the vibrant Warehouse Arts District where he now lives. He has expanded his interests to glass-blowing, mold-making, and bronze casting. After completing a residency with DMG Jacobs felt the experience changed his life and now enjoys a career as a full time glass artist.
