Dichroic glass, sterling silver, and amethyst



Rupama has been a leader and innovator in fused glass and the use of dichroic glass as an artistic medium. In 1982, she assisted in providing research material for the first Glass Fusing Book at Bullseye Glass Company and went on to teach the art of Glass Fusing nationwide. Rupama continued researching fusing dichroic glass throughout the early 80’s, and developed and introduced the first produced line of Dichroic Jewelry. Her original jewelry art pieces have sold in over 800 museums and galleries throughout the world, including the Duncan McClellan Gallery, the Dali Museum, the Tacoma Museum of Glass, the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts, Riley Hawk Galleries, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and many more.
