DMG School Project is partnering with Current of Tampa Bay Inc.’s Laundry Projects.
We are excited to partner with Current and be able to sponsor one of their Laundry Projects.On Saturday, July 26th DMG School Project will be taking volunteers and our mobile sandblasting unit to a St. Petersburg Laundromat. We will be providing free etching classes for children of families whose laundry will be done during the event and covering the cost of all laundry fees. The Laundry Project is an initiative of Current of Tampa Bay Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization incorporated in Florida that started with young adults committed to educating others on current social initiatives and mobilizing them to bring about change.
The Laundry Project assists low-income families with meeting a basic need – washing clothes and linens, by turning laundromats into community centers of hope. Laundry fees are paid for while volunteers assist with laundry services, entertain children, and create a caring space at the laundromat.
In partnership with our friends and creators of Laundry Love, Just One, to host Laundry Projects across the U.S.
At DM Gallery we are experts in what we do. We also love what we do and as fellow artists and gallery hosts, we have established our space to be incredibly inviting to guests, while showing uniqueness in our art throughout the gallery.
