On September 14, 2013, The Duncan McClellan Gallery will proudly present, Born of the Sea, Shaped by Fire, an exhibit & glass demo featuring two internationally recognized glass artists; Hyunsung Cho and David Thai.

Mr. Cho, born & raised in Korea, has taught & exhibited widely in Korea, Japan, & the US. His “In the City Series”, expresses images of the city from his own emotions & memories & depicts how the city appears in the artificial scenery of our daily lives, through both the lines & sceneries.

Mr. Thai is a Canadian Glass Artist who emigrated from Vietnam in 1985. His focus is on both the creation of a timeless design with a contemporary style and a high level of technical skill.

From 5:30-9:30pm tonight is your opportunity to personally meet and watch these two talented artists work! View their amazing art while sipping on refreshments from our custom bars (available for a donation benefiting the DMG School Project).  RSVP on Facebook!

Then on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 2pm, listen to them lecture at Hot Gatherings, Cool Conversations, DMG School Project Visiting Glass Artists Series at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg. An Artists’ Reception at Duncan McClellan Gallery will follow the lecture. http://fine-arts.org/event/hot-gatherings-cool-conversations/
