Having graduated from the Alberta College of Art + Design (now AUarts) in 2018, Taygan is an emerging artist working towards gaining experience in glass artShe has worked with glass for nine years.
In her artistic practice she works largely with sculpture and loves exploring the versatility in glass through texture and form. Conceptually her work is informed though phenomenology and tactility through glass. She is inspired by the landscape of both her home in Canada as well as her ancestral home of Iceland.
