The inspiration for my work has always come from my dialogue with my inner world and reflection on my life experiences.
After the loss of my husband, I experienced many struggles to find my soul again and re-establish solid ground under my feet. As the bird always flies back to her nest instinctively, I found myself going back to the creative path which has always been my compass. Since then, through my daily creative practice, I attempt to connect with the inner self to seek the meaning of loss, how to let go with love and how to be in the present moment.
Whenever I miss my husband, I visit the beautiful hill over looking the ocean and the mountains where I spread his ashes. Every time I visit him there, something very magical happens. An eagle always appears above my head and call me from the sky.
I hope this exhibition will speak to the many viewers just like a spirit messenger delivered inspirations to me.
